Tibi is a municipality in the province of Alicante/Alacant with 1,731 inhabitants, the 80th largest of its 141 municipalities. Its council has 9 seats, and 5 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PSOE came first with 45.4% of the vote and 5 seats, an absolute majority; PP was second with 3. 75.1% of the 1,476 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
