Biar is a municipality in the province of Alicante/Alacant with 3,612 inhabitants, the 65th largest of its 141 municipalities. Its council has 11 seats, and 6 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PP came first with 50.5% of the vote and 6 seats, an absolute majority; PSOE was second with 3. 78.3% of the 2,913 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection keeps PP on 6 seats, a majority, which it holds in 86% of our simulations.
