Ercheu is a commune in Somme with 513 registered voters, the 153rd largest of the département's 770 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 57.3% of them voted, fewer than the 60.9% across Somme, and AGIR ENSEMBLE won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 55.1%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 16.1%, Reconquête 9.6%. National Rally did 32 points better here than across France.
