Arith is a commune in Savoie with 408 registered voters, the 174th largest of the département's 273 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 80.9% of them voted, more than the 59.2% across Savoie, and ARITH Authentique won 9 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 24.9%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 22.1%, France Unbowed 17%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 5 points worse here than across France.
