Wirwignes is a commune in Pas-de-Calais with 677 registered voters, the 285th largest of the département's 886 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 80.8% of them voted, more than the 60.3% across Pas-de-Calais, and UNE EQUIPE POUR WIRWIGNES won 14 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 32.9%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 31.8%, France Unbowed 9.7%. France Unbowed did 12 points worse here than across France.
