Jouy-le-Potier is a commune in Loiret with 1,290 registered voters, the 80th largest of the département's 325 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 77.4% of them voted, more than the 53% across Loiret, and NOUVEL ELAN POUR JOUY-LE-POTIER won 16 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 35.9%, National Rally 21%, France Unbowed 11.2%. France Unbowed did 11 points worse here than across France.
