Oeyreluy is a commune in Landes with 1,130 registered voters, the 67th largest of the département's 327 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 69.3% of them voted, more than the 63.7% across Landes, and OEYRELUY SOLIDAIRE won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 28.1%, National Rally 23.2%, France Unbowed 16.4%. Others did 7 points better here than across France.
