Callen is a commune in Landes with 145 registered voters, the 293rd largest of the département's 327 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 84.8% of them voted, more than the 63.7% across Landes, and ENSEMBLE CALLEN won 9 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 27.1%, National Rally 23%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 13.9%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 14 points worse here than across France.
