Le Versoud is a commune in Isère with 3,680 registered voters, the 50th largest of the département's 510 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 45.3% of them voted, fewer than the 55.5% across Isère, and LE VERSOUD UNE IDENTITE won 27 of the council's 27 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 31%, National Rally 22.7%, France Unbowed 18.2%. France Unbowed did 4 points worse here than across France.
