About Champagne
Champagne is a commune in Charente-Maritime with 526 registered voters, the 223rd largest of the département's 462 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 70.7% of them voted, more than the 58.7% across Charente-Maritime, and Champagne pour tous won 14 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 32.2%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 25%, France Unbowed 15.2%. National Rally did 9 points better here than across France.
