Planty is a commune in Aube with 180 registered voters, the 216th largest of the département's 431 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 65% of them voted, more than the 54.5% across Aube, and L'ENVOL DES COURLIS won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 34%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 24.7%, Reconquête 10%. France Unbowed did 12 points worse here than across France.
