At the municipal election of March 2026 71.3% of them voted, more than the 62.2% across Ardèche, and Destination Saint-Marcel won 13 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 38.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 24%, France Unbowed 12.5%. National Rally did 15 points better here than across France.
