O Barco de Valdeorras is a municipality in the province of Ourense with 13,350 inhabitants, the 4th largest of its 92 municipalities. Its council has 17 seats, and 9 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PSDEG-PSOE came first with 47.7% of the vote and 9 seats, an absolute majority; PP was second with 5. 52% of the 10,330 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection gives no list a majority: PSDEG-PSOE would be largest on 7 of 17.
